As you are aware, Bridge School operates a Walking Bus scheme. The bus sets off from Highland Court turning circle at the top of Bridge Hill. We leave promptly at 8.25. The children wear high visibility jackets and are supervised by CRB checked parents.



The bus has been beneficial to many parents and children since it started in 2007. The children enjoy walking with the bus and have made lots of new friends.



Having the bus has reduced the number of cars around the school in the mornings. Parents are arriving to work on time and the children have the added benefit of good fresh air in the morning and chill out time before reaching the school.



We do ask that a parent/carer of the child walking is able to walk at least one day a week per child (although we are flexible for those who work on a rota basis) and would need to have a CRB check through the school.
